Your content & intellectual property
Your content ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create:
- Coffee beans — bean descriptions, ratings, notes
- Brewing recipes — your recipes, techniques, and brewing logs
- Photos — images you upload
License to Brewly
By posting content, you grant Brewly a license to:
- Display your public content (beans you add and your favorite recipes) to other users
- Store and process your content to provide the service
- Create backups of your content for data protection
This license is:
- Non-exclusive — you can use your content elsewhere
- Revocable — delete your account and the license ends
- Limited — only for operating and improving Brewly
Community content
Brewly is a collaborative catalog. Beans you add are visible to the community. Of your brew log, only recipes you mark as favorite are shared with others — the rest stays visible to you alone. Other users can view but never edit your recipes.
